Relatives of the Siamese, Colorpoints were developed to be identical in type to Siamese but with separate colors. The breed is active, demanding, vocal, loving, smart and very playful. Colorpoints have a fervent desire to be loved. Though the paler colors can be a trifle shy, beneath their planes and angles lies an empathetic sensitivity. No member of their family -- adult or child -- is excluded from their sense of belonging.
